Side Cross Necklace

I'm very excited to start The Journal, to share my inspiration, the process, history and all that's on my mind. For the first post, I thought it will be fun to introduce one of my memorable and iconic designs that started all. I designed the side cross necklace not long after creating MIZUKI in the late 90's. For me asymmetry is symmetry, refinement is complexity, eastern is me and western is me. This understated and unique necklace was the beginning of MIZUKI.
